Emmanuel heads our Banking and Finance and Tax Practice Groups and is an integral part of our Litigation and Arbitration Groups. He is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales. Emmanuel initially graduated with a B.A honours degree in English from the University of Calabar, before proceeding to study law at the University of Nigeria, where he obtained his LL.B (Hons.) law degree. He obtained his Masters in corporate and commercial law from Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London and was also admitted as a member of the Association of Taxation Technician (ATT) of England and Wales. Emmanuel also has an M.Sc, in Constructions Law and Dispute Resolution from the prestigious Kings College, University of London. Emmanuel is regularly called upon to advise clients on a variety of financial related matters including foreign direct investments and tax.
Emmanuel is our football expert and is a fanatical Arsenal supporter.
