We believe we have a responsibility to engage with and support the communities around us. At Goldsmiths, we encourage all our lawyers to use their particular knowledge and skills to assist those in need who may not otherwise be able to afford legal counsel. We are particularly passionate about widows and their inheritance rights, domestic violence victims and motherless babies. We support local NGOs in the provision of assistance to these vulnerable groups.
One of our partners is a member of the International Senior Lawyers Project and working with lawyers from across the globe, provides yearly two weeks pro bono capacity building and training on civil litigation to undergraduate law students at the Tanzanian Law School, Dar El Salam, Tanzania.
